Review of 2024 and outlook for 2025
2024 was another successful and eventful year full of valuable experiences and international collaboration.
I would particularly like to highlight my involvement with the AVM Club in Nepal, which has already found a permanent place in my calendar.
I have been to Nepal myself for the fifth time since 2017. The collaboration with the AVM Club shows how valuable long-term partnerships in sport are in order to achieve sustainable progress.
Another highlight of the year was the training camp and tournament in the Czech Republic - now in its sixth year. This tradition is an important part of the players' further development and has established itself as a permanent fixture.
A personal highlight was the activities for the OTTV regional association. These included training sessions and training days in Switzerland on the one hand and participation in international tournaments such as those in Linz, Mulhouse, Pont-à-Mousson and Olomouc on the other. These varied tasks not only offered the opportunity to develop players at different levels, but also to gain and pass on international experience.
I was also active in various training groups, including TTC Kloten, TTC Laufenburg and TTF Stühlingen in Germany, as well as KST Olomouc in the Czech Republic.
Goals for 2025
The focus for the coming year will be on the continuous development of the players. Step by step, technical and tactical improvements are to be achieved in order to get the best out of each individual. With perseverance, patience and targeted measures, the work from previous years will be further intensified.
I am looking forward to an exciting year in 2025, full of challenges and new opportunities to continue on this path together with the players.
