Successful training camp and tournament in Olomouc

Pavel Rehorek went to the international training camp and tournament in Olomouc, Czech Republic, from July 23-29 as coach of the delegation from Eastern Switzerland. A total of nine different nations took part: Czech Republic, Israel, San Marino, Peru, Germany, Poland, Austria, Switzerland and Slovakia.
From July 24 to 26, Pavel Rehorek led the training camp as head coach together with other assistant coaches.
Then, from July 27 to 29, the international tournament took place. The same 86 players from the age groups U11 to U17, who were already at the training camp, took part in the tournament. They played in different modes: singles, doubles and team.
The delegation from Eastern Switzerland won a total of ten medals.
Julia Gajewska (U11) won gold in team and silver in doubles with her Polish partner, as well as bronze in singles.
Aidan Amstad (U13) took gold in doubles with his Slovakian partner.
Vincent Rabara and Robin Niederer (U15) shone with silver in the doubles competition. Adrian Raschle took bronze with Cyrill Schudel (U17) in doubles, as well as in the team.

The Peruvian players, who were on the Eurotrip with Pavel Rehorek shortly before, won a total of ten medals. Outstanding was Diego Diaz (U13), who won gold in the singles and in the team with Oscar Sosa. He also took the silver medal in doubles with Sosa. In the final they lost to Aidan Amstad and Adam Ocovsky (SVK) in the fifth set with 9:11.
